Taino (c. 1000-1500 CE). An elegant Woodpecker carved on vomit stick made from lignum vitae. Vomit sticks or purging spatulas were used prior to ingesting cohoba to rid the body of impurity‰Ûªs that might effect the entropic effects of the drug. In Taino mythology Woodpeckers were an important symbol of fertility. According to legend they opened neutrally gendered females for sexual encounter. Well detailed and quite realistic.
